A little experiment here, mostly to chastise our roommates…
1:45PM: Sally and I have bravely fought through the spider den in the dense and dangerous Old Forest. We slowly approach what appears to be the cause of the cancer that has befallen this once beautiful forest. Our brave compatriots J&T are nearby, and we send word that we need their assistance to cure this forest once and for all.
1:50PM: As we destroy each spider, we hear word of our brave fellow’s exploits against other evil trees within the forest. We wait, and kill more spiders since we have nothing else to do.
1:55PM: There is still no sight of our friends, we fear for their safety.
1:57PM: Our friends seem to be lost and still have not found their way to us. We keep killing spiders as we wait for their slow asses to arrive.
2:00PM: Overheard in the room that we share: “Shit! Run, run, run, run, run. We’ll be fine, just run”. We fear that this quest will never be completed.
2:02PM, T: “I see spider webs?” We’re still just standing here, like we have been for nearly 25 minutes.
2:03PM, T: “This way? Are you sure?” Sally and I just sigh and sip our coffee.
2:04PM, J: “For what’s it worth, there’s officially a hard way down here. And we found it”
2:05PM: They arrive! We defeat the monster!
2:07PM: “What quest was that for? I have it, right?”
Sometimes we wonder why we play with our roommates…

Yeah, gaming is way better as a humorless, joyless grind. I _hate_ it when I can’t waste my time with video games as efficiently as possible.
